Our two PaR Systems 5-Axis Waterjet Cutting Machines are capable of cutting through up to 5″ stainless steel, and each machine has a workable cutting area of 73″ x 121″. Our two Waterjet Cutting Systems operate three shifts, seven days per week to meet or surpass the deadline for your water jet cut project.

Water Jet Cutting

A waterjet cutting machine is a programmable, computerized industrial tool used to cut materials for manufacturing purposes; water jet cutting is the preferred method when the material being cut would be compromised by traditional heat cutting methods.

Our five-axis waterjet cutting machines use high-pressure water mixed with an abrasive substance (garnet) to cut through metal. We only use the finest garnet (Barton Mines product) in combination with pure water in our PaR Systems Vector 5-Axis Waterjet Cutting Machines.

The five axes work as follows:
  • X-axis (back and forth)
  • Y-axis (left and right)
  • Z-axis (up and down)
  • A-axis (angle and perpendicular)
  • C-axis (rotation around the Z-axis)
Waterjet cutting is particularly applicable to cutting the following materials:
  • Stainless steel (up to 5″ thick)
  • Mild steel
  • Aluminum
  • Marble and granite
  • Composites and plastics
  • Brass
  • Bronze

If your application requires complex cutting in a three-dimensional work area, our waterjet cutting services are the solution for you.
